Effective internal auditing is one of the most powerful tools an organization has for maintaining and improving its Quality Management System. Internal audits are a critical element of any ISO 14001:2026 Environmental Management System. This course prepares EHS professionals to plan and conduct effective internal audits of their organization's EMS, including legal compliance verification, environmental aspect auditing, and corrective action follow-up. Practical auditing exercises are included.

Duration: 16 Hours (2 Days) Format: In-Person Audience: Safety Professionals, HR, Operations
This course prepares safety professionals and operations leaders to conduct effective internal audits of the current ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and identify gaps to the revised ISO 45001:2027 standards for compliance. Participants will practice auditing hazard identification processes, risk controls, worker participation requirements, and OH&S objectives through practical application exercises relevant to manufacturing environments.

Duration: 8 Hours Format: In-Person or On-Site Audience: Existing Internal Auditors
Designed for certified or experienced internal auditors who want to sharpen their skills, stay current with standard updates, or fulfill continuing education requirements for recertification. This half-day refresher reviews key auditing techniques, addresses recent revisions to ISO standards, and provides an opportunity to practice through updated case studies and scenarios.
