Duration: 8 Hours Format: In-Person Audience: Supervisors and Managers
There is no single right way to lead — effective leaders adapt their approach based on the situation and the individual they are leading. This course introduces participants to major leadership styles and the Situational Leadership model, helping them identify their natural style, recognize when to adjust it, and develop greater flexibility as leaders of diverse manufacturing teams.

- Identify their primary leadership style and its impact on team performance
- Describe the four leadership styles in the Situational Leadership model
- Assess employee development levels to determine the appropriate leadership approach

MFG-LD-103 | Coaching and Developing Manufacturing Employees

Great supervisors are great coaches. This course builds practical coaching skills for the manufacturing environment — from setting clear performance expectations and delivering effective feedback, to developing employee skills and addressing performance issues constructively. Participants will practice coaching conversations using realistic scenarios from the shop floor.

- Set clear, measurable performance expectations and communicate them to employees
- Deliver specific, behavior-based feedback that motivates improvement
- Use a structured coaching conversation model (e.g., GROW or SBI) in practice scenarios

MFG-LD-104 | Conflict Resolution and Difficult Conversations
Duration: 6 Hours Format: In-Person Audience: Supervisors, Managers, HR
Conflict is inevitable in any workplace — but it doesn't have to be destructive. This course gives supervisors and managers the tools to address interpersonal conflict, navigate difficult conversations, and create a workplace culture where issues are resolved respectfully and professionally. Participants will practice using structured conversation frameworks through role-play scenarios.

- Apply a structured approach to address conflict between employees or with a team member
- Prepare for and conduct difficult workplace conversations with confidence and professionalism
